ADAS System for Heavy Vehicles

Josam ADAS Calibration Equipment

Josam ADAS Calibration is an equipment used to calibrate the cameras, radars, and sensors of the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) of heavy vehicles, such as trucks and buses.

This ADAS Equipment for Heavy Vehicles uses a set of radars and cameras to calibrate and ensure the correct operation of all the vehicle's sensors.

This ADAS Systems Calibration solution is specifically designed to work with Josam's Heavy Vehicle Alignment Machine - Cam-Aligner or i-Track II, providing several approved solutions for OEM brands such as: Volvo, Renault, MAN and Iveco.

The main functions of the ADAS Calibration System are:

  • Radar Calibration: ensures the correct detection of the environment around the vehicle and that it responds appropriately to critical situations, such as automatic emergency braking and adaptive cruise control.
  • Camera Calibration: ensures that cameras capture high-quality, accurate images, which are essential for the correct operation of features such as lane recognition, traffic sign detection, and parking assistance.
  • Vehicle Height Adjustment: Adjusts the vehicle's height in relation to the ground, ensuring that the ADAS systems' sensors are positioned correctly and function accurately.
  • Fault Diagnosis: Performs quick and accurate diagnostics of faults in ADAS systems, identifying potential problems that may affect their operation.

The calibration of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning System, Collision Warning and Emergency Braking, is a reality in all vehicles marketed and OEM workshops must be prepared to meet these new needs.

Josam ADAS Calibration in conjunction with the equipment: i-Track II or Cam-Aligner, makes the calibration of radars, cameras and sensors of heavy vehicles easier, faster and more simplified.
